Our Dining Lodge

The Waterfalls Lodge complex has everything you need to enjoy an incredible Canadian fishing lodge experience. Our dining room provides delicious home-cooked meals, a fully-stocked bar, plus games for all ages. Our grounds offer a wide variety of recreation and relaxation facilities. We also have many additional facilities that you'll find helpful during your stay.

bar in the Lodge Dining RoomOur new 3200 square foot fully licensed dining room and recreation complex invites you to enjoy our fabulous fine dining and drinks.

Later watch your favorite game on satellite TV, or challenge your friends to a game of pool or darts while swapping tales of piscatorial prowess with fellow guests. It all adds up to FUN! FUN! FUN!

Dining RoomYou definitely won't go hungry here! Our full-facility Lodge dining room provides delicious and hearty home-cooked breakfasts. For lunch you can choose between a packed cooler lunch or a shore lunch kit for a mid-day fish fry. (A shore lunch on one of our islands is a must! If you don't have one on your own, then be sure to come to our community shore lunch on Wednesday and let us cook one for you.)

You'll be impressed by our made from scratch, home-cooked, well-rounded, four course dinners served in the Lodge dining room. Start with a delicious home-made soup, then enjoy a nice salad and bread. Next is the main course, with healthy servings of meats and sides (see daily offerings below). Yummy home-made desserts (like pies and cakes) are made fresh throughout the week, except for Friday when you can choose from any of the leftover desserts or ice cream. We also have a variety of beers and a fully stocked bar.

steak dinner every Friday

Saturday: Ham and Scalloped Potatoes
Sunday: Roast Beef
Monday: Schnitzel
Tuesday: Stir Fry
Wednesday: Fun Night: Our Famous Chicken Wings or Home-made Hamburger Patty
Thursday: Rib Night
Friday: Strip Steak Night

Fish is not often served for dinner in the dining room since guests may be having shore lunches of fish. However, we will be happy to prepare your catch for dinner if given to us the day before.

We understand that everyone has different tastes. That's why we let you pick what type of sandwich you want in your packed cooler lunch. You'll also find a side of some sort, like pudding, chips, or homemade snacks.

There is a different featured four course meal each night. However, if it is not to your liking then you are welcome to choose something else from our menu. We want our guests leaving the dining room full and happy each evening! Additionally, if you will not be back in time for dinner, just let us know and we will wrap up your meal for you and put it in your cabin refrigerator to reheat at your convenience. For some common questions about our meals take a look at our Meals FAQ.

beautiful lakesDon't forget your camera! Our spectacular lakes offer great opportunities to photograph loons, herons, bald eagles, otters, beavers and, of course, our unbelievable sunsets.

Keep a sharp eye. Bear and moose may be around the next point. Hike our many trails, and don't forget to climb the fire tower mountain. The view is breathtaking. Bring your bicycle and enjoy mountain biking on miles of logging roads that lead to beautiful remote lakes.

Plus, the leaves start turning colors here in mid September, and the fall color spectacle on the lakes is really something to behold!
